Hope Haven's Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse facility, the Chris Farley House, has an opening for a part time Cook, working 20 hours per week Monday through Friday from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. 

Responsibilities include: meal planning and preparation, monitoring inventory of kitchen and food supplies, and preparing list of items needed; maintaining overall cleanliness of facility, deep cleaning, and preparing list of needed supplies; informing manager of any fixtures or appliances needing repair.


  • Previous cooking experience required.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain daily logs and other documentation.
  • General knowledge of cleaning supplies.
  • Physical ability to stand for an extended period of time and to bend, kneel, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Knowledge of safe food-handling procedures.
  • Attendance and completion of required CBRF training, including: ServSafe, Dietary Needs, Menu Planning, Food Preparation and Sanitization and Standard Precautions.
  • Valid driver's license, automobile, and sufficient insurance to meet agency requirements unless exempted prior to employment.
