Our Float staff provide in-home care to a variety of adults who have developmental disabilities in their own homes throughout Madison. Care includes assisting clients with daily living activities, transporting/supervising in the community, administering medications, grocery shopping, and following a behavioral support plan.

Floaters have designated days off each week, but can be scheduled for any shift on the days that they work. To be considered for employment, candidates must have a positive job history, excellent attendance, 2 years of prior caregiving experience with medical and behavioral clients, and a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle.

Starting hourly wage is $14.00 upon satisfactory completion of probationary period. The biggest challenge to floating is being comfortable working with a range of people. If you like a challenge and never want to live the same day twice, this position is for you! This position offers variety and flexiblity to work the hours which fit into your schedule. No day will be the same!
