Due to the growth we are experiencing in our school based mental health services, we need a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and will enjoy being the friendly face of our Family Programs. We would love to have someone who has experience working with insurance companies and has a solid knowledge of the credentialing process. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential in this position as you will be communicating with offsite funders, vendors, and staff. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work well independently. We are looking for a strong problem solver who can meet deadlines and keep our projects on track.


This position will be part time at 30 hours a week.


  • Manages the credentialing process with the insurance companies we work with.
  • Follows up with our billing company and updating the status of insurance payments.
  • Assists Program Managers with basic administrative tasks including copying, filing, making packets, and faxing documentation.
  • Back up reception duties including phones and routing calls when appropriate.


  • BA Degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role. 
  • Prior non-profit experience is preferred, not required.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills including experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • 2 years of experience working with insurance companies.
