Due to growth, Catholic Charities needs an IT Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience working in IT. This role will provide hardware, application, and help desk support for staff working in our administrative office and out in the field. Non-profit experience preferred but not required.

 

Hardware Support

  • Troubleshoot hardware problems as they arise, replacing components as needed.
  • Configure and image new computers and other devices for staff.

 

Application Support

  • Monitor hire and termination notices and establish, maintain and terminate network and email accounts as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot software issues as they arise.

 

Help Desk

  • Provide prompt, friendly, efficient service to internal clients.
  • Provide effective and accurate analysis of problems as they arise as well as appropriate remedies to those problems.
  • Monitor internal Help Desk ticketing system.
  • Improve staff compliance with IT systems by quickly eliminating obstacles and helping end-users feel comfortable with technology.
  • Triage and prioritize customer service requests in light of organizational needs and priorities.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Two years or more of similar experience in a medium size organization; non-profit experience preferred.
  • Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong background in systems/hardware testing as well as above average analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with any or all of the following systems and platforms:

o   Microsoft Windows versions 7 and 10

o   Administrative experience with Windows Server 2008R2 & 2012,   Office 365,  and SharePoint a must. 

o   HyperV

o   Windows Remote Desktop Services

o   Active Directory

o   Microsoft Exchange

o   Cisco firewall, routers, switches, wireless controller and APs

o   ShoreTel or similar enterprise VOIP systems

o   Microsoft Office Suite

o   Telephony-based Time-Labor Management applications

o   Microsoft Azure cloud platform
