CC is hiring an entry level HR Benefits & Insurance Assistant to join our HR team. In this exciting role, you will works closely with the Human Resources team, serving as the primary "go to person" for all areas related property, auto and liability insurance. You will also support the Manager of Compensation and Benefits, on the administration, communication and coordination of all employee benefits programs, including compliance mailings, open enrollment, monthly benefit invoice reconciliation as well as Worker's Compensation Insurance and Claims. Insurance Related Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, provide expertise & knowledge, and serve as primary contact in the areas of property, liability and vehicle insurance
  • Responsible for the administration of vehicle lease management, working as liaison between managers and external vendors
  • Work closely to support the HR Partner on Worker's Compensation insurance and claims process, serving as the go between when necessary for managers, employees and our insurance provider.


Employee Benefits Related Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Manager of Comp & Benefits on the administration, communication and coordination of all employee benefits programs. This will include:
  • Assembling & oversight of benefit documentation and packets
  • Oversee the generation of and delivery of employee communication regarding ongoing status changes
  • Work closely with Manager on compliance mailings, open enrollment and monthly benefit invoice reconciliation
  • Support Manager in providing accurate and timely guidance to employees for all benefit enrollment & renewals. And, as needed, assist with addressing issues, questions, & interpretation of benefit related matters
  • Working closely with Director of HR and Manager of Benefits and Compensation, to identify, develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Oversee the updating of all content of the HR Connections portal

About You:

  • 2-3 years' work experience, with exposure to insurance and/employee benefits being a real plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, managers and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be a team player and willing to jump and help in other areas of human resources as needed.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, impressive problem-solving skills, and an assertive personality are necessary to be successful in this role.
