Our President & CEO is in search of a new Executive Assistant Our new Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small entrepreneurial environment. Our ideal candidate will exercise sound judgment in a variety of situations, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, and able to balance multiple projects at once. Must be able to thrive under pressure to handle a variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Our Executive Assistant is an important role and perfect for a go-getter looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manages a complicated and active calendar for the CEO and ensures the calendar is followed,
  • Act as a barometer and have a clear understanding for issues taking place within the organization and keeping the CEO updated on pressing concerns and trends.
  • Screens phone calls, mail, and email correspondence. Provides smooth, clear, and concise communication between the CEO's office and internal departments, stakeholders, and members of the community.
  • Serves as the liaison between the CEO and the Board of Directors. Assists board members with travel arrangement, lodging, and meal planning as needed.
  • Is an active participant of the Executive Leadership Team. Schedules, attends, and participates in all team meetings.
  • Ensures that the CEO's bio is up to date and responds to all requests for materials regarding the CEO and Catholic Charities.


  • 5+ years' experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in a non-profit organization.
  • Experience and interest in internal and external communications, building partnerships, and fundraising.
  • Expert level computer skills and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.
  • Must be highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks at once seamlessly.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, staff, board members, external partners, donors, and other members of the community.
  • Able to think quickly on your feet and have strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Emotional Maturity.
  • Highly resourceful team player who is able work effectively on your own using sound judgement.
