We are looking for some new staff members to work with clients in the Montello and Green Lake area. Our Skills Teachers help our clients become more independent in their day to day activities. You can be a mentor to people in need of assistance by coaching them on independent living skills. You can enjoy a variety of activities in the community with our clients. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  •       Assisting with and teaching personal cares and activities of daily living ( money management, cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.)
  •       Monitoring client medications
  •       Assisting with assigned therapies such as relaxation techniques
  •       Journaling
  •       Diet and Exercise Monitoring
  •       Providing opportunities to participate in community and social activities
  •       Assisting clients in reaching his/her service plan goals
  •       Completing necessary paperwork
  •       Household duties

**Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities a plus but not mandatory.
